Board/Commission Duties:

To serve as the forum for information exchange between the City and its community on the topics of sustainability and resilience.

Member Responsibilities:
  • Review and comment on the quarterly Green Worcester Plan Progress Reports prepared by the Department of Sustainability and Resilience.
  • Review and comment on the annual Green Worcester Plan Reports prepared by the department.
  • Review and advise the City on the municipal sustainability and resilience projects and initiatives, using equity, health and prosperity lenses.

Member Skillset:

Comprised of individuals concerned with issues of environmental sustainability and resilience, including but not limited to those representing the environmental justice community, the Worcester business community, non-profit environmental groups, Worcester higher education institutions and individuals having special expertise in the realm of sustainability and/or resilience.
