Project Overview
The project will improve the safety and access of pedestrians at 8 intersections throughout the City. The proposed work varies depending on the intersection but generally includes construction of curb extensions and ADA/PROWAG compliant wheelchair ramps and installation of pedestrians actuated Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) or Pedestrian in Crosswalk signage. These locations were approved by City Council, following a petition process, and the construction is funded through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding.
