Administers, in accordance with the law, the retirement system and provide a comprehensive explanation of rights, benefits and regulations regarding retirement to all employees of the City of Worcester (excluding teachers) and the Worcester Housing Authority.

Member Skillset:

Five Member Board consisting of the City Auditor who serves as Ex-Officio, two representatives elected from the membership, a City Manager representative, and a fifth member chosen by the other four. The fifth member can not be an employee, retiree or official of the City.
