Board/Commission Duties:

The Commission is responsible for supervising the maintenance of the nearly 1,300 acres of municipally owned park land, operation of the City-owned golf course, provision of athletic facilities, tennis courts and basketball courts.

Member Responsibilities:

Participate in meetings. Become familiar with all of the public parks and advise the City Manager on policy.

Member Skillset:

Members who have used and understand the many different activities with a municipal public park system. Members should be focused on all parks and not a single or few parks within the City.
