Meetings:
Meet monthly at 6:30 p.m.; day of week varies. Oversee Election operations on Election Day.
Board/Commission Duties:

The board shall have powers and duties as provided under Section 16A of Chapter 51 of Mass General Laws and Article 7 Section 7-1 of Worcester's Home Rule Charter. Parts of the responsibilities include establishing policy in matters dealing with municipal elections. Drawing district, ward and precinct lines. Registering all voters and informing them of their polling locations. Establish polling places in compliance with state and federal laws. Communicate annually with the residents of every building in the City and make a true list containing names and addresses of such residents. Conduct primary, preliminary and general elections in accordance with the state election laws and regulations.
