Worcester Senior Center to Host 25th Anniversary Celebration

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Senior Center is hosting its 25th anniversary celebration Wednesday, June 11, 2025.
Worcester’s first and only full-service Senior Center opened in June 2000 to meet the growing needs of the city’s older population, which now number around 40,000. The Friends of Worcester’s Senior Center, Inc. joined other local organizations to support this project and see it to fruition. Worcester Senior Center is operated by the City of Worcester Department of Health & Human Services, Division of Elder Affairs, and is overseen by 15 volunteer members of the Commission on Elder Affairs.
The 25th anniversary celebration is open to the public.
