Worcester Beaches to Open Friday, June 27

WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester announced Wednesday the launch of its 2025 Aquatic Program. For the second consecutive year, the municipality is partnering with the YMCA of Central Massachusetts to staff facilities.
Starting Friday, June 27, Bell Pond Beach, Coes Pond Beach, Indian Lake Beach, and Shore Park Beach will be fully staffed. East Park Spray Park and Greenwood Spray Park opened Friday, June 20. Crompton Park Pool and University Park Spray Park will have delayed openings announced at a later time. All facilities will be open seven days a week, 12 p.m. (noon) to 7 p.m. Beaches and Crompton Park pool will be open until August 23. Spray Parks will close Labor Day, Monday, September 1.
