The 2026 trash and recycling calendar includes 11 holidays that result in a day delay for collection:

  • New Year’s Day – Jan. 1
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – Jan. 19
  • Presidents’ Day – Feb. 16
  • Patriots’ Day – April 20
  • Memorial Day – May 25

  • Labor Day – Sept. 7
  • Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day – Oct. 12
  • Veterans Day – Nov. 11
  • Thanksgiving Day – Nov. 26
