Lake Quinsigamond Health Advisory Lifted

WORCESTER, Mass. – City officials Wednesday lifted the public health advisory in effect at Lake Quinsigamond following a sewage overflow in the vicinity of 65 Lake Ave on Feb. 20.
On Monday, the Department of Inspectional Services sampled Lake Quinsigamond for E.coli for a third time following the overflow and confirmed the level of E.coli to be below recreational use limits.
At this time, all activities related to Lake Quinsigamond can resume.
