Chandler Street and May Street Improvements Public Meeting

WORCESTER, Mass. – Join the City of Worcester’s project team on Oct. 15, 2026 to learn about planned roadway upgrades to Chandler Street and May Street in the vicinity of the Worcester State University campus.

Initiated in 2017 to address concerns related to speeding, safety, and traffic control, the Chandler Street and May Street Improvements Project has reached the 100% design stage, with construction anticipated to begin as soon as summer of 2027.

This meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to review the proposed improvements and learn more about how they are intended to enhance safety and mobility in the neighborhood.
