At this time, no human cases have been detected, and the WNV risk level in Worcester remains Low. In coordination with the municipality, the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project has scheduled a truck-mounted pesticide application on Thursday, July 25 after 8:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The City of Worcester, in partnership with Tremont Development, formerly Boston Capital, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday, July 16 to celebrate the opening of the District 120 apartment building, which offers 83 units of mixed-income affordable rental housing at the site of the former headquarters of Table Talk Pies at 120 Washington St. in Worcester.
