On Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at approximately 2:09 AM Worcester police were dispatched to the area of 6 Forestdale Road for a report of several gunshots and one victim. Multiple units responded to the scene. Upon arrival, officers located a gunshot victim in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle. The victim was identified as a 34-year-old male of Worcester. Officers rendered aid to the victim until Worcester EMS arrived on scene. He was rushed to a local hospital. His injuries are considered serious but are not expected to be life-threatening. A second passenger was in the vehicle but was not injured.
Detectives are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
