JUNIOR SANITARY ENGINEER GRADE 3

The City of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Junior Sanitary Engineer, Grade 3 for the Department of Public Works and Parks. The position will perform engineering duties related to daily operations of Sewer Operations Division and focus on stormwater and wastewater issues and other related functions. The position will focus on environmental compliance using Federal and State regulations that affect operations of the City’s sewer and stormwater collection system and will require in office and field work. The employee will perform field inspection of Public Work projects, perform water testing and analysis, and perform field inspections related to compliance with the City’s fats, oils, and grease ordinance.

o An equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the essential functions of the job will be considered in lieu of the above-mentioned requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
SALARY RANGE: $30.87-$37.62 hourly, full-time, with an excellent benefits package.
