The City of Worcester seeks applicants for Lifeguards in the Department of Public Works and Parks. Lifeguards are crucial to ensuring safety for swim activities at the City of Worcester pool and beaches. As part of the professional lifeguard team, lifeguards provide for the safety and enjoyment of patrons by anticipating, recognizing, responding to, and managing emergency situations. Ideal candidates should enjoy working outside as well as working with children. Opportunities for advancement and additional pay and stipends available later in the season are available to those who show leadership and initiative.
FREE LIFEGUARD TRAINING IS PROVIDED FOR QUALIFIED APPLICANTS.
