The Street Sweeping Program is designed to collect sand debris—not to collect yard waste.
Do Not Place Leaf or Brush Piles In the Street
Obey posted “No Parking” signs--Violators may be ticketed $50.00 and towed.
Beginning Friday, April 14, 2023, DPW&P will begin residential street sweeping in Routes 42 and 43 shown in the green shaded areas on the map below and online at the following link: http://www.worcesterma.gov/streets/spring-street-sweeping
The street sweeping areas in Routes 42 and 43 are bounded by Brooks Street, West Boylston Street, Shore Drive,, Holden Street, Nelson Place, Snowy Owl Lane, Myrick Avenue, and the Holden town line.
Residents in the sweeping area should sweep sidewalk debris into the street. Yard waste must not be placed in the street. Yard Waste will not be collected, and violators may be fined.
The DPW&P sweeps residential side streets from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
