On July 27th 2023 at about 12:30 PM, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were conducting surveillance in the area of Grafton and Wall St. As a result of their investigation, they followed a vehicle to the area of Pleasant and Fruit St, where they observed a hand-to-hand transaction between a female on foot and someone in the vehicle. Officers stopped the female and discovered what appeared to be crystal Meth.
Officers stopped the vehicle and discovered many bags of what appeared to be fentanyl. Vehicle occupants David Aviles, forty-three-years-old of Queen St and Jerry Landrau, twenty-one-years-old of Grafton St, were placed under arrest. They are both charged with Trafficking in Heroin 37-99 Grams and Distribution of a Class B Substance (crystal Meth).
