On December 1st 2023 at about 5:15 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the Flower Shop at 120 Stafford St for a report of an armed robbery. Officers were told that a male entered the store and demanded cash at knifepoint before fleeing on foot. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the male. Detectives arrived and began the follow-up investigation.
After an investigation, Worcester Police applied for a warrant for thirty-five-year-old Tommie-Lee Goddard of Stafford St. The warrant was issued for Armed Robbery While Masked, and a BOLO was sent out for Mr. Goddard.
On December 30th 2023 at about 5:30 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of 68 Stafford St for a report of a disorderly person. Upon arrival, the officer recognized Mr. Goddard, who was placed under arrest for the Armed Robbery warrant.
