On April 12th 2023 at about 6:04 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to the area of Main and Benefit St for a report of an armed robbery of an individual. Officers spoke with the victim, who reported that he was driving on Main St when he heard a woman cry out for help. He stopped to speak with the female, and he said she pulled out a knife and demanded money. The male gave her the money he had in his pocket. He gave officers a description of the suspect, which included a description of distinctive, bright red hair.
On Oread St, officers located an individual who matched the description, identified as Angelic Berry, thirty-two-years-old of Benefit St. After a brief investigation, officers developed probable cause for the arrest of Ms. Berry and placed her under arrest for armed robbery. Ms. Berry tensed up, resisted being placed in handcuffs, and refused to get into the wagon. She is charged with Armed Robbery and Resisting Arrest.
