The Worcester Police Department announced road closures, intermittent traffic control and anticipated traffic delays on Sunday, October 9, 2022 due to the Italian Heritage Parade.
Closures from 11 AM-1PM:
Plantation Street inbound from Belmont Street will be closed
290 Ramp 19
Shrewsbury Street
It is highly recommended that motorists seek alternative routes during the parade.
The Worcester Police Department is advising drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians to take extra care to obey the rules of the road and to be considerate of others traveling on local streets during the parade. Again, due to heavy pedestrian crowds associated with this event, motorists are encouraged to exercise caution when traveling in these areas.
