Meets twice monthly - Mondays at 5:30 p.m.
Administer wetlands protection regulations and make recommendations on the planning, acquisition and management of property for conservation and passive recreation.
Participate in meetings and scheduled site visits. Become familiar with the Wetlands Protection Act and local Wetlands Protection Ordinance. Review applications, reports and plans.
Members typically have a background in biology, environmental science, construction or related fields. Members should be able to interpret technical documents and share an interest in protecting important natural resources.
