Worcester, MA (October 19, 2011) - Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, the #1 private health plan in America for the past eight years, today announced it has signed a lease to open a Central/Western Massachusetts regional office in the City of Worcester that will be focused on expanding the insurer’s presence in the Worcester, Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties. The office will open later this month.

The new office, located in downtown Worcester at 427 Main Street, will be led by Worcester native Kate McEvoy-Zdonczyk, Vice President of Central and Western Massachusetts Markets, who joined the insurer in June 2011. McEvoy-Zdonczyk is responsible for developing market-specific strategies and business plans that will increase Harvard Pilgrim’s market share and membership in the Central and Western regions of Massachusetts.
