WORCESTER, Mass. – The City of Worcester will open Bell Pond Beach with lifeguard staffing on Thursday, July 20.
The beach will be staffed with lifeguards Thursday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. each week until closing day on Aug. 20. The pool at Crompton Park and the beach at Shore Park will continue to be open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. until August 20.
Spray parks at East Park and Greenwood Park will continue to be open seven days a week from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. until Labor Day, Sept. 4. The two remaining beaches at Coes Pond and Indian Lake Beach remain unstaffed.
