The Board of Election Commissioners has voted to change the following polling locations. These changes are effective for all future elections:

About Us

The City Clerk provides operational and administrative support to the Board of Election Commissioners and is the City's primary election and voter registration official.

Board of Election Commissioners

The duties of the Board include performing voter registration, gathering the annual street listing, or census, and the conduct of primaries, preliminaries and elections in accordance with the Massachusetts Election Laws and Regulations. They establish policy in matters dealing with municipal election. They are also responsible for drawing district, ward, and precinct lines and the establishment of polling places.

Important Message to Worcester Voters Regarding the 2020 Elections

Massachusetts passed a law making it easier and safer to vote during the COVID-19 pandemic. For the September 1, 2020 State Primary and November 3, 2020 Presidential Elections, voters may choose one of these options:

  • Early Vote By Mail
  • Early Vote In-Person
  • Vote In-Person on Election Day at Your Assigned Polling Location
