The City's annual Festival of Lights event will begin on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 4:30 - 9 p.m. on the Worcester Common Oval. The event will feature live music, food trucks, free ice skating, street performers, tree lighting and more. This year, the celebration will continue Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 1 - 7 p.m. with additional live performances, ice skating and a local vendor market!
The rink, aptly named the Worcester Common Oval and located directly behind Worcester City Hall at 455 Main Street, is professionally managed by SMG, the DCU Center's talented management team. The 12,000-square-foot rink, which is 4,000 square feet larger than the size of the Rink at Rockefeller Center, is complete with amenities such as piped-in music, skate rentals, concessions, holiday lights and more, making it a fun and affordable family-friendly activity.
Autumn is in full bloom this Friday morning. Get your coffee to go and take a stroll through the Worcester Common.
