The City of Worcester's Division of Youth Opportunities has internship opportunities for credit available year-round. Internships are focused primarily on promoting Recreation Worcester programming.
Volunteers are also welcome for both the summer and after-school Recreation Worcester programs. Opportunities include helping with homework assignments and recreational activities.

Worcester's "YouthWorks Summer Jobs Program," developed through Worcester Community Action Council, Inc., was established to create summer jobs for city youth. Each summer, eligible youth between the ages of 14 and 21 are provided with 18 hours of pre-employment training, 6-7 weeks of paid work experience along with daily supervision and support at nearly 75 participating local organizations and businesses.
