Municipal parking facilities are conveniently located within a short walking distance of notable downtown destinations such as the Canal District, DCU Center, Hanover Theatre, Mechanics Hall, Palladium, Worcester Public Library, Union Station and Worcester District Court to name a few.

The City of Worcester has approximately 1,200 parking meters throughout the City. There are some coin-only meters, but many accept coins and credit cards. The City of Worcester has implemented central pay stations at municipal garages and some off-street parking lots. At surface lot locations with pay stations, simply enter the license plate number, select the desired amount of time and pay the amount indicated. It is not necessary to place your receipt on the dashboard of your vehicle.
