Acclaimed feature authors and poets will host lectures, panels and interactive sessions at locations in the heart of downtown Worcester. With opportunities for youth, residents and visitors, the Worcester Book Festival will highlight the City of Worcester's new Poet Laureates, as well as its love of nonfiction, sci-fi, illustrations and history.

Women’s Suffrage: Worcester 2020

Voting Sign

The 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote, was ratified in August of 1920. Women's Suffrage: Worcester 2020 celebrates the progress of American women since then, recognizes historic and present-day obstacles to universal suffrage, and works to increase voter education and engagement in our city. A volunteer working group drawn from various Worcester organizations and open to all, WSW envisions, organizes and promotes a diverse series of events throughout the city in this anniversary year.
