Sponsored by Saint-Gobain, the USA Luge Team returns to the Worcester Common Oval Public Ice Skating Rink on Friday, Jan. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. Meet team members, watch a luge demonstration and enjoy free ice skating.
The WOOville Winter Wonderland will feature food vendor RealFoodRX (food delivery service for paleo and vegan meals) during the event. The Oval offers skate rentals, concessions, holiday lights and more, making it a fun and affordable family-friendly activity. Ice skating is available through Jan. 21 on Thursdays and Fridays from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Normal admission for open skating is $10, and free for children six and younger. Bring your own skates and receive $5 off the admission price. A refundable $25 cash or credit card deposit is required for skate rentals. The Oval is available for private group rentals by calling 508-929-0125.

Fri., Jan. 19: Broomball matches, including the Worcester Fire Department vs. the Worcester Police Department and City Hall vs. the press - 4 p.m.
