The City of Worcester's Department of Public Works & Parks began treating roadways at 5:15 a.m. this morning and general plowing was triggered at 8 a.m.
Motorists are urged to stay off the roads unless travel is absolutely necessary today so that crews can plow streets effectively. The declared winter parking ban remains in effect and towing and ticketing will be done aggressively to keep streets clear. For questions, please call the DPW Customer Service Center at 508-929-1300.
