ASST. SITE COORDINATOR (PROGRAMMING LEAD)
DIVISION OF YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES
CITY OF WORCESTER

The Division of Youth Opportunities seeks applicants for the position of Assistant Site Coordinator (Programming Lead). The Assistant Site Coordinator (Programming Lead) implements athletic, academic, and art programs for the Recreation Worcester participants. Responsibilities for this position will require: overseeing site logistics, data collection, and assisting with management of all aspects of the park to ensure safety and quality of programming for youth.

Successful candidates will possess strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to be flexible, timely, and able to multi-task; the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback; the ability work in a fast paced environment; the ability to work under minimal supervision; the ability to supervise and coach staff and youth; the ability to work with students with special educational or emotional needs; the ability to build relationships with participants, community members and agencies; and the ability to work forty (40) hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Six (6) months of previous supervisory experience
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or older
• Must pass a criminal background check (CORI & SORI)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Previous experience working with children and families from diverse cultural, socioeconomic background and abilities
• Experience facilitating OST (out of school time) activities
• Experience working with Google Drive

SALARY RANGE: $14.00 - $14.25 hourly, seasonal
