On January 22nd 2024, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers had a search warrant for a Main St address. At about 5:50 AM, officers gained entrance to the apartment. In the apartment, officers located a loaded handgun and what appeared to be crack cocaine, packaged in a manner consistent with distribution.
One male, identified as fifty-four-year-old Debric Sweeney, and a female, forty-one-year-old Shara Latham of Oxford, were placed under arrest. Mr. Sweeney and Ms. Latham are both charged with Trafficking in a Class B Substance 36-99 Grams, Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card, Improper Storage of a Firearm, Use of a Firearm in a Felony, and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
