On January 26th 2024, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Cambridge St for a report of a stolen Toyota Camry. Officers took a report and issued a BOLO for the vehicle. On January 27th, an officer was traveling on Woodland St when he observed the stolen vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. The officer pulled behind the vehicle and stopped it on Oberlin St.
The officer called for backup and observed that there were two occupants of the vehicle. The driver initially identified himself as Thomas Young. He was placed under arrest for Use of a Motor Vehicle without Authority and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Passenger Yesenia Davis, thirty-one-years-old of Vernon St, was arrested for Use of a Motor Vehicle Without Authority and an outstanding arrest warrant. The operator was later identified as thirty-four-year-old David Morales of Hooper St.
