On March 2, 2023, at approximately 6:51 AM officers were dispatched to 927 Main Street for a possible break-in at a business. Upon arrival, officers noticed a broken window and the door was unlocked. Officers entered the building and began to search. They located a male later identified as Jorge Figueroa hiding behind a sheet of plywood. The owner of the building arrived on scene and confirmed that Mr. Figueroa did not belong there. In addition, the owner noticed that the cash register had been broken. Mr. Figueroa was in possession clonazepam pills which are considered a Class D drug. He did not have a prescription for the pills.
Jorge Figueroa, 39, of 25 Queen Street was charged with Trespassing, B&E and Possession of Class C Substance.
