On Monday, June 12, 2023 an officer spotted two men with active arrest warrants at 137 Pleasant Street. Multiple units responded to the address to locate 54-year-old Anthony Clarke and 51-year-old Bobby Hammond to arrest them on their warrants. The K9 unit also arrived on scene. K9 Bolt found Mr. Clarke hiding in an unlocked stairwell of the bulkhead. Another K9 officer announced that K9 Beebs would be deployed and for anyone else hiding in the basement area to make themselves known. Mr. Hammond exited the basement at this time. He was taken into custody without incident. Both men were transported to police headquarters.
