In an effort to relieve pressure on the state's health care system and provide additional medical capacity, the Baker-Polito Administration announced that a 220-bed field medical station be set up at the DCU Center in Worcester.
In a continued response to the COVID-19 outbreak, UMass Memorial Health Care, in partnership with the City of Worcester, has opened the temporary field medical station, which will be used to treat lower acuity care needs.
