Worcester, MA (March 9, 2016) - The Millbury Street Yard Waste Drop-Off Site located at 1065 Millbury Street will be opening on Saturday, March 12, 2016 for the season.
The Millbury Street site hours of operation on Saturday & Sunday are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Wednesday hours of operation are 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM (weather permitting).
The Clark Street and Foley Stadium Yard Waste drop off sites will not open until Saturday April 2nd, 2016.
Yard waste includes leaves, grass, weeds, trimmings and small brush. Any large branches (larger than three feet in length) must be brought to the Millbury Street Drop-Off Site. The maximum size of branches allowed is eight feet in length or eight inches in diameter. Tree stumps are not accepted at any site. Though yard waste may be brought in any container, only biodegradable paper bags may be left at the site.
Yard waste won't be accepted at any site from commercial vehicles or landscapers.
