Worcester, MA (February 4, 2016) - The Worcester Free Tax Service Coalition (formerly the Worcester EITC Coalition) has four VITA (volunteer income tax assistance) sites in which eligible workers can have their taxes prepared for free. Sites include Main South CDC, Worcester Community Action Council, Plumley Village and Worcester State University. Sites are currently taking appointments and they also accept walk-ins. Eligible tax filers must have an income of less than $54,000 to receive this service.
