Sponsored by Saint-Gobain, the USA Luge Team returns to the Worcester Common Oval Public Ice Skating Rink on Friday, January 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. Meet team members, watch a luge demonstration and enjoy free ice skating.
The Oval offers skate rentals, holiday lights and more, making it a fun and affordable family-friendly activity. Ice skating is available through February 24 on Fridays from 5 until 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1 until 6 p.m. The Oval will also be open on January 21 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and February 18 (President’s Day) from 1 to 6 p.m.
Normal admission for open skating is $5, and free for children six and younger. Skate rentals are available for $5. The Oval is also available for private group rentals by calling 508-929-0125.
