WORCESTER – The City of Worcester will hold a groundbreaking ceremony at Indian Hill Park on Monday, Oct. 17, at 4:15 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
City leaders will discuss the final phase of redevelopment happening at the park. The playground and softball field will be renovated, including new drainage, sports lighting, irrigation, fencing, accessible walkways, a batting cage, bull pens, backstop, seating, and a practice softball field.
The work is expected to be completed by spring of 2024. It follows a previous phase of renovation at Indian Hill Park that included improvements to the parking lot, storm water management, and basketball court.
