Licenses are issued each year, expiring on March 31. The renewal period for said licenses begins April 1 and goes until May 31. Licenses renewed after the renewal period may be subject to a late fee.
The Division of Parks, Recreation & Cemetery maintains and manages a par 72, 18-hole municipal golf course offering City residents and non-City residents alike an exciting and challenging round of golf.
The Worcester Public Works Department operates three yard waste drop-off sites for all Worcester residents, open April through November.
DPW&P will sweep arterial streets from 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, and residential streets from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning April 1.
The goal of this program is to provide Worcester residents with opportunities to engage in healthy eating, active living, community building and spending the summer becoming a healthier Worcester. The program runs from June 10 through August 31, Mondays through Saturdays at 8 City locations. We hope to see you there!
