On December 2nd 2021 at about 12 noon, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers were monitoring the area of Granite St when they observed a white sedan with an Alabama registration on to the side of the road. Shortly after the sedan pulled over on Vale St, a black truck pulled up next to sedan with its windows down. There appeared to be an exchange, and officers decided to stop the sedan on Providence St.
Officers identified the operator of the white sedan as Thomas Curtin, sixty-years-old of Fitchburg, and located several bags of what appeared to be heroin, as well as a small scale, inside the vehicle. Mr. Curtin was placed under arrest and is charged with Possession with intent to Distribute Class A (Heroin). He will be arraigned in court.
