On March 3rd 2022 the Worcester Police assisted with a Drug Enforcement Administration investigation that resulted in three search warrants being granted in connection with a Duncannon Ave address. Officers recovered a very large amount of what appeared to be heroin and fentanyl. Saul Delacruz, thirty-one-years-old of the Bronx, and Pedro Nieves-Mejia, thirty-years-old of Duncannon Ave were placed under arrest.
Mr. Delacruz is charged with Trafficking in Heroin over 200 Grams, Trafficking in Fentanyl over 10 Grams, Identity Fraud, and Possession of False RMV Documents. Mr. Nieves-Mejia is charged with with Trafficking in Heroin over 200 Grams, Trafficking in Fentanyl over 10 Grams, Identity Fraud, and Possession of False RMV Documents, Possession of a Class A Substance. He also had an outstanding arrest warrant. Both men will be arraigned in court.
