On June 23rd 2022 at about 9:40 AM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Aitchison St for a report of larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officerse met a victim who reported that someone broke into her vehicle overnight and stole her wallet. Her debit card was used at a Dunkin’ Donuts and Wal-Mart in Worcester.
The officer took a report and obtained surveillance footage of the incident. The officer sent a department-wide email with the pictures of the individuals who used the card, and other officers identified them as David Cote, thirty-six-years-old, and Amanda White, forty-years-old. At about 1:45 PM, an officer located Mr. Cote and Ms. White walking on Greenwood St. Ms. White was placed under arrest for multiple outstanding warrants.
Officers searched Mr. Cote and located the missing wallet. Mr. Cote was placed under arrest and is charged with Breaking and Entering into a Depository (Vehicle), Using a Stolen Credit Card, and Possession of a Class A Substance. Ms. Cote tried to slip out of handcuffs, pulled away from officers, and attempted to destroy a substance that appeared to be heroin. She is charged with her warrants, resisting arrest, and Tampering with Evidence. They will be arraigned in court.
