On December 18th 2021, officers assigned to the Neighborhood Response Team were on patrol in the area of Lincoln St. At about 11:40, officers observed a small group of people standing at the intersection of Pasadena Parkway and Humes Ave. They observed a male, later identified as Jesus Colon, thirty-nine-years-old of May St, approach the group. They observed a male from the group give Mr. Colon paper currency, and they saw Mr. Colon drop an item on the ground and walk away. The item was retrieved by a member of the group.
Officers approached the group, and recovered the item, which appeared to be a bag of Fentanyl. Officers stopped Mr. Colon, and recovered several bags of what appeared to be Fentanyl and crack cocaine. Mr. Colon was placed under arrest and is charged with Distribution of a Class A Substance (Fentanyl), Possession of a Class A Substance with intent to Distribute (Fentanyl) and Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute (Crack Cocaine). He will be arraigned in court.
