On November 21, 2021 at approximately 6:20 PM a sergeant assigned to the Neighborhood Response Team (NRT) was in the area of King Street when he observed a drug transaction take place. A female approached a group of males in front of 10 King Street. The female and one of the males left the group by walking up in front of 14 King Street. The sergeant observed the female hand the male money in exchange for an item that she placed in her mouth. As the pair returned to the group the male placed additional money in his pocket. The female left the group and was stopped by police. She was found to be in possession of class B crack cocaine.
The male who was identified as Jose Martinez was trespassing in the area of 2 King Street when he was stopped by police. He was found to be in possession of six bags of crack cocaine.
Jose Martinez, 28, of 5 King Street was charged with Distribution of Class B Substance and Possession of Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute 2nd or Subsequent Offense.
Ashley Paradise, 29, of 55 Merrifield Street was charged with possession of Class B Substance.
On November 21, 2021 at approximately 5:30 PM NRTS officers in the area 810 Main Street when they discovered that a vehicle was uninsured. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Benefit Street and Beacon Street.
While officers spoke with an occupant in the vehicle about not wearing a seat belt, identified as Julio Agenjo, they noticed that he had bags of crack cocaine inside his mouth. Officers told Agenjo to take the bags of cocaine out of his mouth. He spat three bags of cocaine from his mouth.
Julio Agenjo, 18, of 25 Hooper Street Worcester was charged with Possession of Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute.
The driver was summonsed for driving an uninsured motor vehicle.
