On Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at approximately 6:50 AM Worcester Police received several calls regarding a male actively breaking into cars on Lantern Lane.
Upon arrival, an officer observed a male matching the suspect’s description walking briskly in the vicinity of Lynwood Lane.
The male was stopped and identified as Evensly Phard. He had an active warrant.
During the arrest, officers found that Mr. Phard was in possession of several stolen items. Owners of the stolen property were tracked down through property that had identification i.e. wallets, credit cards. The owners lived in the area of the car breaks.
Arrangements were made for the victims of car breaks to pick up additional stolen items that were recovered from Mr. Phard. All stolen items were returned to their owners.
Evensly Phard, 23, of 5 Allen Street, Worcester was charged with three counts of Larceny of Motor Vehicle.
