On Saturday, April 30, 2022 at approximately 1:20 AM officers received a report of a male victim being threatened by a 24-year-old male with a firearm at bar located at 97 Water Street. During the investigation police learned that Michael Lavoie held the victim at gunpoint.
Officers located Mr. Lavoie walking out of the establishment. Mr. Lavoie was in possession of a loaded firearm. Officers safely removed the firearm from Mr. Lavoie. Mr. Lavoie did not have a license to carry a firearm. He was placed under arrest.
Mr. Lavoie of 5 Berkeley Street, Worcester was charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Firearm Use in a Felony, Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Carrying a Firearm without a License and Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card.
