The Department of Public Works & Parks seeks five (5) candidates for Senior Account Clerk positions for Utility Billing and Administration and Finance. The Senior Account Clerk (1 position) in Water Billing in Water Billing Office, is responsible for performing critical activities to prepare, process, and maintain water usage and water bills. Responsibilities include daily phone contact with water customers concerning their billing questions and concerns; direct involvement with The Treasurer’s Office in regard to payments; and outreach to customers in the form of call backs, emails and/or fax requests. The Senior Account Clerk (4 positions) in Administration/Finance Division provides critical administrative support, primarily by carrying out extensive payroll, accounts payable, and other accounting functions. Responsibilities include tracking and assisting in the entry of payrolls, maintaining financial accounts and records, verifying accuracy of invoices, and preparing summaries of revenues or expenditures.

SALARY RANGE: $20.56 - $24.77 hourly, full-time, with an excellent benefits package.
