    The Department of Public Works and Parks in partnership with the University of Massachusetts Amherst, College of Social & Behavioral Sciences, Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning (LARP) in corporation with the Greendale Branch of the YMCA, the Indian Lake Community Association, the Unitarian Universalist Church, the Bancroft School and the Indian Lake Watershed Association invite all to the Master Planning process. DPW&P & LARP with assistance from Beals & Thomas, Inc., will complete the initial community engagement and conceptual design with eighteen Junior year students in the Design Studio V class. The Studio is a seven week class where students learn the principle, methods, process and techniques of landscape architecture design. The students have already visited Worcester to review the property and understand the existing site layout and context. This public meeting is the next step in the community engagement process, based on the students class schedule. This presentation will be followed by an open public discussion/question and comment period to allow a better understanding and ascertain the needs, wants and desires of the neighbors, citizens and organizations that currently use the facility.
