    The City of Worcester is holding two informational meetings to assist in the development of upcoming community focus groups that will be happening in April. The sessions are to help gather information regarding the Spectrum-Charter franchise in Worcester. Spectrum-Charter is one of only a handful of companies whose services touch almost every city resident, and the only one which is required under Federal law to have a franchise agreement with the City.

    One of two meeting chambers situated in Worcester City Hall, this room is named after Levi Lincoln, Jr. (1782 - 1868) an American lawyer and politician. He served as Governor of Massachusetts from 1825 to 1834 and in the United States Congress from 1834 to 1841. Born in Worcester he was a major civic and philanthropic force, owning and developing land in the city, and serving as its first mayor in 1848.
